In a political atmosphere where many choose silence in difficult moments, the actions of Hon. Babatunde Bakare, popularly known as BB, have once again demonstrated courage, loyalty, and commitment to the progress of Osun under the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke. His recent political mobilization efforts in support of the Governor’s second-term ambition have earned admiration across different political and social circles. Following the unfortunate destruction of campaign billboards belonging to supporters of Governor Ademola Adeleke by suspected political hoodlums across parts of Osun State, many expected fear and discouragement to set in among loyalists. However, Hon. Babatunde refused to bow to intimidation. Instead, he responded with stronger determination by erecting two massive campaign billboards in support of Governor Adeleke’s re-election bid. This bold step sends a powerful message that the spirit of the people cannot be silenced by acts of political intoler...

Yet, in a display of remarkable courage and resilience, Hon. Babatunde Bakare, widely known as ITESIWAJU has refused to be cowed. The statement noted that NGF's PHC lead...

Why Osun Needs Governor Ademola Adeleke for a Second Term - Olusola Ajala

Image
As the political atmosphere gradually heats up ahead of another governorship election in Osun State on August 15, 2026, conversations around the performance and future of Governor Ademola Adeleke have become more intense.  While critics continue to question aspects of his leadership style, many residents and political observers argue that the governor deserves a second term based on continuity, infrastructure renewal, workers’ welfare, and growing public confidence in governance. When Senator Ademola Adeleke assumed office in November 2022, the administration inherited a state struggling with salary arrears, pension liabilities, abandoned projects, and infrastructural deficits.  Within a relatively short period, his government moved aggressively to clear outstanding salary and pension obligations while also reviving stalled road projects across several communities in the state. One of the strongest arguments in favour of a second term is continuity of development. ...

No room for a copy and paste political lackey manifesto in Osun State. We're Omoluabi, we deal with ORIGINALITY

Image
Oyebamiji purported manifesto is an embarrassing, word-for-word reproduction of Gboyega Oyetola’s failed campaign document. This makes one thing very clear, the APC offers no new ideas, no fresh direction, and no credible alternative for the people of Osun State. A manifesto should be a contract with the people, innovative, clear, and rooted in today’s realities. What the APC delivered is the opposite. Just recycled promises the public already rejected, repackaged with no thought, no reflection, and no relevance. A serious opposition presents ideas, clarity, and a compelling agenda. What the APC has presented is a crowd without purpose and a manifesto without substance. ~TICC

Gov. Adeleke Faults Ambo-Adereti Agenda Sector by Sector

Image
● Says Opposition Bereft of Governance Ideas Osun state governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has faulted the manifesto of the opposition, calling it “a warped plan incompatible with the needs and aspirations of Osun people”. Speaking shortly after attending the 2026 May Day rally at Osogbo, the governor cited each of the items on the APC manifesto as ill thought-out concoction hurriedly packaged together to deceive the people and mask the confusion within the camp of Bola Oyebamiji over governance agenda. Under economic revival, the Osun APC mentioned agro-processing zones in each senatorial district. But the Oyetola/Ambo government in their days gave less than 100m Naira per year to agriculture (Cash crops and Food Crops) between 2017 and 2022. Governor Adeleke has however invested heavily in cash crop expansion with tractorisation and seedling initiatives. Oyebamiji's fundamental thought is warped because you can not have processing value when you don’t have agricultural...
