HON. BABATUNDE BAKARE: A SHINNING SYMBOL OF LOYALTY AND GRASSROOTS COMMITMENT TO GOVERNOR ADEMOLA ADELEKE REELECTION


In a political atmosphere where many choose silence in difficult moments, the actions of Hon. Babatunde Bakare, popularly known as BB, have once again demonstrated courage, loyalty, and commitment to the progress of Osun under the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke. His recent political mobilization efforts in support of the Governor’s second-term ambition have earned admiration across different political and social circles.

Following the unfortunate destruction of campaign billboards belonging to supporters of Governor Ademola Adeleke by suspected political hoodlums across parts of Osun State, many expected fear and discouragement to set in among loyalists. However, Hon. Babatunde refused to bow to intimidation. Instead, he responded with stronger determination by erecting two massive campaign billboards in support of Governor Adeleke’s re-election bid. This bold step sends a powerful message that the spirit of the people cannot be silenced by acts of political intolerance.

Not stopping there, Hon. Babatunde Bakare has further intensified grassroots mobilization by customizing 200 face caps and 200 branded T-shirts to promote the reelection campaign of Governor Ademola Adeleke. These efforts reflect not only political loyalty but also genuine belief in the developmental strides and people-oriented governance currently being experienced in Osun State under the “Imole” administration.

Hon. BB passion for community development and empowerment did not begin today. As reflected in his entrepreneurial and humanitarian journey, which started in 2019, BB has invested in ventures aimed at human development, job creation, and economic growth. His involvement in automobile business, poultry farming, food processing, plantain chip production, and other agricultural enterprises speaks volumes about his commitment to empowering people and reducing poverty within communities. These investments have continued to create opportunities for youths and families while contributing meaningfully to the local economy.

Indeed, Hon. BB represents the kind of progressive-minded leader whose actions are driven by passion, perseverance, and purpose. His continuous support for Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration is not merely political; it is rooted in a sincere belief that the Governor’s leadership remains beneficial to the people of Osun State. At a time when many are watching from the sidelines, BB has chosen to stand visibly with the people and with a government committed to infrastructural development, workers’ welfare, grassroots empowerment, and inclusive governance.
