Gov Adeleke Approves Conduct of 2026 Promotion Examinations

Governor Ademola Adeleke has again demonstrated commitment to workers’ welfare by approving the conduct of the 2026 staff promotion exercises across the entire public service of the state.

Accordingly, the Head of Service, Elder Ayanleye Aina has directed the immediate commencement of the exercise by the affected agencies of government across the state.

The Head of Service recalled that, immediately the governor came on board in November 2022, he cleared the arrears of promotion on ground, including their cash backing, thereby restoring the lost confidence of public servants in the bureaucratic system.

He further emphasised that since 2023, promotion of workers and other allied establishments matters have continued unabated as at when due with  financial backing.

For smooth conduct of the exercises, he further directed those in charge of the exercises to leave no stone unturned in ensuring that all necessary actions are taken promptly to ensure hitch free exercises.

While commending the governor for being workers friendly, Elder Aina tasked workers to reciprocate the good gestures of the Governor by being more committed to their work  so that our people can reap  more dividends of democracy.

Signed:
Mallam Olawale Rasheed,
Spokesperson to the State Governor.
