ADELEKE GENERAL SUMMIT COMMENDS MEMBERS, STAKEHOLDERS, COORDINATORS, AND WOMEN MOBILIZATION LEADERS FOR ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN ACCORD MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION


The Adeleke General Summit extends its heartfelt appreciation to all members, stakeholders, coordinators, and women mobilization leaders for their commitment and active participation in the ongoing Accord membership registration exercise.

As lovers of democracy, the registration process remains a critical responsibility for all party faithful and a vital step for everyone who genuinely believes in and supports the continuity of Imole Osun beyond 2026. It is not only a demonstration of loyalty but also an effort toward sustaining the progress and achievements recorded under the present administration.

Following the emergency meeting held in Ede recently, the Adeleke General Summit, under the guidance of the Adeleke political dynasty, swiftly mobilized its structure to drive massive participation in the membership registration exercise. At the stakeholders’ meeting, members unanimously resolved to intensify grassroots mobilization and encourage widespread engagement across all levels.

Accordingly, all members of the Summit; from ward, local government, and senatorial district levels to the state level are strongly urged to treat this exercise with utmost seriousness. It is a collective responsibility and a genuine commitment required to advance good governance and foster continued development across Osun State.

We also wish to sincerely commend the dedication of volunteers who have taken on the responsibility of serving as registration agents. Their selfless contributions have significantly enhanced the success and smooth coordination of the ongoing exercise.

Special recognition is given to our women mobilization leaders, whose consistent impact and invaluable contributions to political activities remain remarkable. Your dedication, resilience, and influence continue to inspire progress, and we encourage you not to relent in your efforts as we collectively sustain this momentum.

In conclusion, we call on all organs of the party and government to continue to provide maximum support to the administration of His Excellency, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke. Let us remain steadfast through prayers, hard work, and intensified grassroots mobilization to ensure the continued success of this administration.

Court restrains UBA from paying out Osun LG allocations

An Oyo State High Court on Friday, 26 September, 2025 restrained the United Bank for Africa (UBA) from paying out any money from accounts opened in the names of the 30 Local Governments in Osun State by the court-sacked All Progressives Congress Local Government Chairmen and councillors.  The order has been served on the bank. The Federal Government on Friday released the seized allocations of each of the 30 Local Governments into the controversial new accounts, a decision the state government took to court in suit number 1/1149/25.  The case which was heard Ex-parte on Friday by Justice A.L.
