Glitz and Glamour as Chief Samuel Adebanjo Adetunji (Dr. Fish) Installed as Olu-Omo of Iyeku Land

Friday, 26th December 2025, stood as a historic and colourful day as Chief Samuel Adebanjo Adetunji, fondly known as Dr. Fish, was installed as the Olu-Omo of Iyeku Land by His Royal Majesty, Oba Salahudeen Soliu Ajiboye, the Atapara of Iyeku Land.
The installation ceremony, marked by rich cultural displays, glitz and glamour, attracted distinguished guests from far and near. In attendance were political leaders, sons and daughters of Iyeku Land from home and abroad, and esteemed royal fathers.
Notable royal dignitaries present included His Royal Majesty Pozoh Johnson Jauro Magaji, the Ujah of Anaguta, Plateau State; the Afaji of Faji, the Onira of Ira Land, and the Eburu of Iba Land. Other prominent personalities at the event were Alhaji Gbadamosi Tajudeen, the Asiwaju of Iyeku Land; Alhaji Sheu Adeoti, Hon. Soji Adetunji, representing Ifelodun/Odo-Otin/Boripe Federal Constituency; and Hon. Tajudeen Akinlolu Adeyemi, Member representing Ifelodun State Constituency, among many others.
The ceremony was a celebration of tradition, unity, and honour, as the people of Iyeku Land rejoiced in the installation of Chief Samuel Adebanjo Adetunji, whose installation as the Olu-Omo of Iyeku Land is widely seen as a call to greater service and commitment to the progress of the land.
