The second Edition of Fidelity Foodbank in collaboration with Esther Adeleke Humanitarian Foundation, held at the Modakeke Civic Centre
, took another bold step towards eradicating hunger in Osun State by successfully distributed food items to over 2,500 vulnerable individuals across the Ile-Ife and Modakeke areas.

The crowd was overwhelming, to the glory of God, no casualty was recorded. The event marked yet another significant milestone in our collective efforts to combat food insecurity within the state.

The distribution exercise was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including His Excellency Governor Ademola Adeleke, who was ably represented by the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Hon. Dipo Eluwole. 

I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the management and dedicated staff of Fidelity Bank for their invaluable partnership in making this initiative a resounding success. I am equally grateful to the Ogunsua of Modakeke, His Royal Majesty Oba Joseph Toriola, who was ably represented, the Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Sesan Oyedele, Commissioner for Cooperatives and Empowerment, Hon. Bayo Ogungbangbe, Wife of the Deputy Governor, Deaconess Olusola Adewusi, Mrs Bunmi Jenyo, Wife of the Commissioner for Education, Wife of Commissioner for Political Affairs and Inter-Government Relations, Professor Adejumoke Adelowo, Mrs Sesan Oyedele and Special Advisers who attended and provided a welcoming atmosphere for the event.

My special appreciation goes to my beloved husband, whose unwavering support continues to inspire my humanitarian journey. 

I am also grateful to the media, my team members, the people of Ile-Ife and Modakeke areas for their support in making the event a success.

IGP Egbetokun Conniving with Oyetola and Osun APC to assassinate Adeleke, PDP alleges

The leadership of the Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has accused the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun of hobnobbing with the opposition All Progressives Congress to assassinate the state governor, Ademola Adeleke amid the crisis surrounding control of local government areas in the state. Addresing a press conference at the PDP secretariat in Osogbo, the party chairman, Sunday Bisi, alleged that Egbetokun gave sacked local government chairmen under the platform of APC security cover to take control of councils, saying the development was part of the plot to “get rid” of Governor Adeleke. The empowerment initiatives tagged "Asendo / Imole Empowerment" entail: (1) 30 refrigerators: 15 to be shared for the 15 Vice-Chairmen and 15 ward secretaries.
