Alado Installs Bola Olalere As Amuludun of Ado-Awaye

Friday 15th November, 2024 was a unique day in the life of Chief Joshua Bolatito Olalere, the Chairman of Delight Communication, Commonwealth Estate, Okeho and Publisher of OkehoNews as His Royal Majesty Oba Revd Ademola Folakanmi Olugbile Makunledoye 11, Alado of Ado-Awaye installed him as AMULUDUN OF ADO-AWAYE.

The epoch making occasion held at Alado Palace  witnessed by Commissioner for Culture and Tourism  Hon Wasiu Olatunbosun, Chief Mufutau Abilawon, former Chairman Iseyin local government, Hon Jelili Oyinloye former Chairman Iwajowa local government, Alado Chiefs, Pastor Favour Adedoyin, Remi Oladoye, Otunba K Bello, Association of Kajola Local Government Media and many other dignitaries.
Performing the installation ceremony Oba Olugbile praised Chief Olalere for his contribution toward the development of Ado-Awaye within  three years as Chairman of Iyake Festival.
He thanked him for joining hand with him and entire populace of Ado-Awaye to make I yake Festival a unique one and also made it to wear a new look despite the fact that he is not a native of the town.
The monarch charged him to continue the good work and prayed that God Almighty will continue to protect, guide and bless him.

Chief Joshua Bolatito Olalere hails from Baale Bode Ogbugudu Compound, Bode, Okeho. He obtained Higher National Diploma in Mass communication from The Polytechnic, Ibadan.
 A writer, Editor and Publisher,he is the pioneer Editor in Chief of Campus Horizon, Nigeria foremost inter campus newspaper, Managing Editor Oyo Herald Newspaper, Lekki Express, Abuja Herald and Christian Herald.

Ogabola as he was fondly called has many medals and laurels to his credit including the Journalist of the Year  Award from the Press Council, the Polytechnic Ibadan. He also distinguished himself during his National Youth Service at Ihiala, Anambra State and he was given a number of Commendation letters and the prestigious NYSC Merit Award.He is the author of Career Guide and Okeho Achievers Haven,a Collection of Who is Who in Okeho.

FHA ED, Remi Omowaiye in Trouble over N150m MIST Fund Fraud

Former Commissioner for Works and the current Executive Director at the Federal Housing Authority, Remi Omowaiye is in fresh trouble over an alleged N150m MIST fund fraud when he served as the maiden Commissioner for the Ministry of Science and Innovation under the Aregbesola administration. Feelers from the state government indicated that shocking details were uncovered on the FHA director during a contract review process on which he was already penciled down over a particular road contract. A source told our reporter that the money was meant for some information and communication gadgets to be shipped to Nigeria. Till date, there was no invoice nor any equipment from the transaction. IGP Egbetokun Conniving with Oyetola and Osun APC to assassinate Adeleke, PDP alleges

The leadership of the Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has accused the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun of hobnobbing with the opposition All Progressives Congress to assassinate the state governor, Ademola Adeleke amid the crisis surrounding control of local government areas in the state. Addresing a press conference at the PDP secretariat in Osogbo, the party chairman, Sunday Bisi, alleged that Egbetokun gave sacked local government chairmen under the platform of APC security cover to take control of councils, saying the development was part of the plot to “get rid” of Governor Adeleke.
