The Osun Primary Healthcare Renovation upgrades of the primary healthcare centres under the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke administration of Osun State

The Osun Primary Healthcare Renovation Project Committee continues their project monitoring to eight(8) other local government areas of the state on Wednesday for further Project inspection in the ongoing rehabilitation and upgrades of the primary healthcare centres under the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke administration of Osun State. 

The team led by the Project coordinator, Dr Akindele Adekunle today visited health facilities in the designated local government areas of the state that have so far enjoyed the intervention of Governor Ademola Adeleke administration in the ongoing Revitalisation of the primary healthcare system of the state which includes, ●Aromiwe PHC (Irepodun LGA), ●Asade PHC, Owoka and ●Araromi PHC (Orolu LGA), ●Awo PHC and ●Iragberi PHC (Egbedore LGA), ●Algon PHC, Ikire-Ile (Olaoluwa LG), ●Amobi PHC and ●Omisore PHC (Aiyedire LG), ●Alaye PHC (Iwo LG), ●Ayedaade PHC, Ikire and ●Waasimi PHC (Irewole LG), ●Akinlaalu PHC and ●Okooko PHC, Ipetumodu (Ife North LG).

At each of the health centre visited today, it was a carnival like situation during the project inspection as beneficiary communities where the health facilities are situated trooped out with enthusiasm and excitement to express their appreciation to the intervention the health facilities have enjoyed under the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke.

So far, the project committee has covered 15 local government area of the state within two days in their assessment of the completion stage of the 2nd phase of the ongoing rehabilitation and upgrades of 345 primary healthcare centres in the state. 

The project inspection, monitoring, and assessment of other health facilities in the state continues as scheduled.

FHA ED, Remi Omowaiye in Trouble over N150m MIST Fund Fraud

Former Commissioner for Works and the current Executive Director at the Federal Housing Authority, Remi Omowaiye is in fresh trouble over an alleged N150m MIST fund fraud when he served as the maiden Commissioner for the Ministry of Science and Innovation under the Aregbesola administration. Feelers from the state government indicated that shocking details were uncovered on the FHA director during a contract review process on which he was already penciled down over a particular road contract. A source told our reporter that the money was meant for some information and communication gadgets to be shipped to Nigeria. Till date, there was no invoice nor any equipment from the transaction. IGP Egbetokun Conniving with Oyetola and Osun APC to assassinate Adeleke, PDP alleges

The leadership of the Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has accused the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun of hobnobbing with the opposition All Progressives Congress to assassinate the state governor, Ademola Adeleke amid the crisis surrounding control of local government areas in the state.
