Banji Adeyemo Mourn Sudden Departure of Alhaja Sulat Sowole (Sully Mama) and Chief Sarafadeen Odetunde

I received with rude suck the news of the death of Alhaja Sulat Sowole and Chief Sarafadeen Odetunde both of who are very important to me as family and political associates. They are both exemplary, loyal, and committed to the growth of our dear party PDP and Odeomu Land even when it was not convenient to do so, I strongly believe that history will be kind to them and we shall all continue to remember them for such a wonderful well-spent life while they were here with us. 

The industrious Alhaja Sulat was a consistent loyal PDP stalwart not only in Ayedaade LG and Osun State alone but also at the National level where she has served mysteriously in several capacities. 

Chief Sarafadeen Odetunde on his own was a political warrior and respected Chief of Odeomu Land who has contributed greatly to the development of Odeomu Land and our dear party PDP. 

No doubt, we will greatly miss the two political giants who suddenly left us to the great beyond but in total submission to the will of our Lord God Almighty. I wish them an eternal rest in peace where there is no more sorrow and agony. They have both created a vacuum but who are we to question God the Almighty even though we love them, God loves them more and has a purpose for calling them home this time. 

We are consoled by the fact that both of them lived a worthy life and contributed immensely to mankind and the development of Odeomu and Ayedaade local government. Our prayer is that God reposes their souls and grant both of them everlasting rest.

With a heavy heart and on behalf of my family and political associates, I extend my sincere condolence to the families of Alhaja Sulat Sowole, Chief Sarafadeen Odetunde, Osun State Government, Kabiyesi Alayegun Of Odeomu, The PDP Osun State and Ayedaade Chapter. As we all continue the journey without these two great people, may God Almighty grant us the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

FHA ED, Remi Omowaiye in Trouble over N150m MIST Fund Fraud

Former Commissioner for Works and the current Executive Director at the Federal Housing Authority, Remi Omowaiye is in fresh trouble over an alleged N150m MIST fund fraud when he served as the maiden Commissioner for the Ministry of Science and Innovation under the Aregbesola administration. Feelers from the state government indicated that shocking details were uncovered on the FHA director during a contract review process on which he was already penciled down over a particular road contract. A source told our reporter that the money was meant for some information and communication gadgets to be shipped to Nigeria. Till date, there was no invoice nor any equipment from the transaction. IGP Egbetokun Conniving with Oyetola and Osun APC to assassinate Adeleke, PDP alleges

The leadership of the Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has accused the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun of hobnobbing with the opposition All Progressives Congress to assassinate the state governor, Ademola Adeleke amid the crisis surrounding control of local government areas in the state. Addresing a press conference at the PDP secretariat in Osogbo, the party chairman, Sunday Bisi, alleged that Egbetokun gave sacked local government chairmen under the platform of APC security cover to take control of councils, saying the development was part of the plot to “get rid” of Governor Adeleke.
