Oyebanji Commiserates with Chief Ademola Opadola's Family, Describes his death as a great loss to the Party, Isokan LG, and Osun State

Hon. Oyebanji Adeyemo "popularly called Banji" a former aspirant of House of Representatives, Irewole, Ayedaade, Isokan Federal Constituency,
commiserates with the Opadola Family on the demise of our esteemed political father and leader, Chief Ademola Opadola who died on Tuesday 18th May 2024 at the age of 89 years. Leader Opadola as we fondly called him, was a staunch advocate of Banji ADEYEMO for "Rep" and had remained consistent in his support for the Banji ADEYEMO movement in our Federal constituency amongst other notable political leaders that abound in Apomu and Ikoyi towns of Isokan Local Government Council.

While I commiserate with our Royal Fathers, The Alapomu of Apomu, Oba Kayode Adenekan Afolabi, The Olukoyi of Ikoyi, Oba Taofeek Iyiola, I equally express my condolences to our political leaders and the Stalwart of the PDP, my Brother Alhaji Lateef Adeniran aka MAO, the Chairman of Isokan Local Government Area, as well as other Political Leaders in Isokan  Local Government Council, Hon. Yusuf Akeem PDP Party Chairman, Alh. Taye Ambali aka "Taye Kondo", PDP State Treasurer, Hon. Mufutau Olatubosun Amoo Local Govt District Chairman, Hon. Oyegunle Adio Former House of Assembly Member Osun State, Iyaafin Fatimoh Oladipo, PDP Women Leader and the Youth Leader, Yisau Olalekan Saheed, PDP PRO, Isokan Local Government Area.

Lastly, I commiserate with our constituency's political leader and Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (Dr) Kamorudeen Lere Oyewumi, The Senate Minority Leader of the Nigerian Senate, representing the people of Osun West,  "a ku ara feraku,  ojo a jina si ara won, Amin".

FHA ED, Remi Omowaiye in Trouble over N150m MIST Fund Fraud

Former Commissioner for Works and the current Executive Director at the Federal Housing Authority, Remi Omowaiye is in fresh trouble over an alleged N150m MIST fund fraud when he served as the maiden Commissioner for the Ministry of Science and Innovation under the Aregbesola administration. Feelers from the state government indicated that shocking details were uncovered on the FHA director during a contract review process on which he was already penciled down over a particular road contract. A source told our reporter that the money was meant for some information and communication gadgets to be shipped to Nigeria. Till date, there was no invoice nor any equipment from the transaction. IGP Egbetokun Conniving with Oyetola and Osun APC to assassinate Adeleke, PDP alleges

The leadership of the Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has accused the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun of hobnobbing with the opposition All Progressives Congress to assassinate the state governor, Ademola Adeleke amid the crisis surrounding control of local government areas in the state. Addresing a press conference at the PDP secretariat in Osogbo, the party chairman, Sunday Bisi, alleged that Egbetokun gave sacked local government chairmen under the platform of APC security cover to take control of councils, saying the development was part of the plot to “get rid” of Governor Adeleke.
