Oyebanji Adeyemo Congratulates Governor Ademola Adeleke on his well-deserved Vanguard Newspaper Award

Hon. Oyebanji Adeyemo has extended his congratulatory message to Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke of Osun State for being named Vanguard Newspaper's Governor of the Year on Infrastructural Development.

The prestigious award which was conferred on the Osun State Governor in Lagos on Friday, 24th May 2024 at the Eko Hotel recognizes Governor Adeleke's outstanding contributions and performances on infrastructure in Osun State. 
According to a statement personally signed by Oyebanji Adeyemo, popularly known as BANJI, the Odeomu-born real estate and financial expert lauded Governor Adeleke's commitment and political will to transforming and raising the infrastructural standard across the length and breadth of Osun State. Adeyemo emphasized that the Vanguard Newspaper Award recognition is a confirmation of the unprecedented strides and efforts of H.E Asiwaju Ademola Adeleke to bring good governance and dividends of democracy closer to the people marking a significant era in the state's history.

"We are proud of you sir, your impactful stewardship and desire to make Osun great in less than two years in every sector has brought tremendous achievement to Osun State. FHA ED, Remi Omowaiye in Trouble over N150m MIST Fund Fraud

Former Commissioner for Works and the current Executive Director at the Federal Housing Authority, Remi Omowaiye is in fresh trouble over an alleged N150m MIST fund fraud when he served as the maiden Commissioner for the Ministry of Science and Innovation under the Aregbesola administration. Feelers from the state government indicated that shocking details were uncovered on the FHA director during a contract review process on which he was already penciled down over a particular road contract. A source told our reporter that the money was meant for some information and communication gadgets to be shipped to Nigeria. Till date, there was no invoice nor any equipment from the transaction. IGP Egbetokun Conniving with Oyetola and Osun APC to assassinate Adeleke, PDP alleges

The leadership of the Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has accused the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun of hobnobbing with the opposition All Progressives Congress to assassinate the state governor, Ademola Adeleke amid the crisis surrounding control of local government areas in the state.
