Governor Gboyega Oyetola joined colleagues at another meeting of the South-West Governors Forum which was hosted by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

This evening, Governor Gboyega Oyetola  joined colleagues at another meeting of the South-West Governors Forum which was hosted by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
 At the meeting, they discussed issues bordering on security, governance and development of our region in particular and the nation at large. 

After the meeting, they paid a courtesy visit to the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and an elder statesman, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his residence in Ikoyi. They used the opportunity to appreciate God for granting him sound health and his safe return to the country. 
They prayed that God will continue to strengthen and preserve him for many years to come.

IGP Egbetokun Conniving with Oyetola and Osun APC to assassinate Adeleke, PDP alleges

The leadership of the Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has accused the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun of hobnobbing with the opposition All Progressives Congress to assassinate the state governor, Ademola Adeleke amid the crisis surrounding control of local government areas in the state. Addresing a press conference at the PDP secretariat in Osogbo, the party chairman, Sunday Bisi, alleged that Egbetokun gave sacked local government chairmen under the platform of APC security cover to take control of councils, saying the development was part of the plot to “get rid” of Governor Adeleke. The empowerment initiatives tagged "Asendo / Imole Empowerment" entail: (1) 30 refrigerators: 15 to be shared for the 15 Vice-Chairmen and 15 ward secretaries.
