8 Persons in convoy of Emir of Kaura Namode killed by unidentified gunmen

No fewer than eight persons have been killed by unidentified gunmen who were said to have attacked the convoy of the Emir of Kaura Namoda on Thursday night on the Zaria – Funtua road.

The Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Usman Nagogo has confirmed the attack.

The Emir was said to be returning from Abuja to Zamfara State, when his convoy was attacked at a stretch between the Zaria – Funtua Road

According to the report, the Emir was said to have escaped into the bush unhurt, during the ambush by the gunmen.

IGP Egbetokun Conniving with Oyetola and Osun APC to assassinate Adeleke, PDP alleges

The leadership of the Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has accused the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun of hobnobbing with the opposition All Progressives Congress to assassinate the state governor, Ademola Adeleke amid the crisis surrounding control of local government areas in the state.
