BREAKING] LEKKI SHOOTINGS: DJ SWITCH WILL BE UNCOVER SOON, SAYS LAI MOHAMMED

The Federal Government says famous disc jockey, Obianuju Catherine Udeh, generally referred to as DJ Turn, “will soon be revealed” over her allegations about the alleged shooting by soldiers at the Lekki toll plaza on October 20, 2020 of #EndSARS protesters.

This was made clear today at a press conference in Abuja by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed. The briefing was conveyed, according to him to resolve unresolved issues about the #EndSARS police reform protests that shook the nation last month.

Mohamed, who described the event of October 20, 2020 as a “massacre without bodies,” insisted that not a single body was produced or a single family came out to say that their family member was killed at the Lekki tollgate, unlike the claims of DJ Switch.

He also said the government stands by the testimony last Saturday of the 81 Military Intelligence Brigade Commander, Victoria Island, Lagos, Brig. Gen. Ahmed Taiwo, who told the Lagos State Government’s Judicial Panel of Inquiry that blank bullets were fired at the toll gate.

The minister regretted that during the #EndSARS crisis, celebrities used the social media to spread fake news, noting that the government would not fold its arms and allow the trend to continue.

One of the fake news providers was a DJ Switch whose real name is Obianuju Catherine Udeh, even though she claimed authentic proof of mass murders. Surprisingly, she opted to flee from the country on the grounds that her life was in danger, instead of presenting any evidence she may have. At risk to whom?

“The military has come out to say we never sought after her and to the best of my knowledge, the police never declared her wanted.

“Thus, her activity becomes suspicious. For whom is she fronting? What’s her true motive? Who are the sponsors? If she has some proof, why does she not bring such proof to the panel? Did she have to resort to a brazen lie to tarnish the reputation of the government, because she was very desperate for asylum in any country?

This lady will be revealed in the fullness of time for who she is, a fake, a front for divisive and destructive forces.

“At this juncture, we want to appeal to countries that have made faulty judgements on the basis of fake news and disinformation emanating from #EndSARS crisis to endeavour to seek and find the truth.”
