…Summit moves to intensify voter’s card registration across Osun
The leadership of the Adeleke General Summit (AGS) has expressed deep appreciation to the Deputy Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Akinyode Abidemi Oyewusi, alongside Engr. Akinmade Akintoye, Hon. Dapo Okunola, Hon. Oyebade Bamidele Adewale, and several other distinguished leaders for their unwavering support and contributions towards the growth and welfare of the Summit.
As a formidable political support movement, the Adeleke General Summit has continued to demonstrate consistency, resilience, and grassroots relevance across Osun State. Since its formation in 2022 through the efforts of visionary PDP leaders, AGS has successfully united over 90 registered support groups under one umbrella, spreading across all three senatorial districts, nine federal constituencies, thirty local governments, and the Modakeke Area Council.
At its recent stakeholders’ meeting held yesterday, 19th August 2025, AGS deliberated extensively on strategies to intensify mobilization for the ongoing voter’s card registration exercise across the 332 wards in Osun State. The Summit resolved not only to sensitize members and communities but also to directly support the process through funding and logistics to ensure that every eligible member secures a Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC).
The Summit emphasized that the continued backing of respected leaders within the party from the ward level,local government, and senatorial district has made its activities impactful and sustainable, particularly in grassroots mobilization.The leadership noted,that strengthened AGS’s capacity to operate smoothly and achieve its objectives is a joint effort that all stakeholders must accomplished
In conclusion, AGS reaffirmed its readiness to work hand-in-hand with the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at all levels; unit, ward, local government, senatorial, and state, in driving voter engagement and sustaining good governance under the Adeleke administration.
