Osun SA's Forum Endorsed Governor Ademola Adeleke for Second Term Bid

The Forum of Special Assistants (SAs) to the Governor of Osun State has formally endorsed Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke for a second term in office, pledging their unwavering support ahead of the 2026 gubernatorial election.

In a speech delivered by the Chairman of the Forum, Hon. Adeniran Sunday Isaac, the group highlighted the governor’s notable achievements across various sectors as the foundation for their endorsement. Speaking on behalf of the Forum, Hon. Adeniran praised Governor Adeleke's leadership, describing it as transformative and people-oriented.

“From the reconstruction of major roads across the state and to the building of multiple overhead bridges in Osogbo, Ilesa and Ile-Ife, we have witnessed tangible improvements under His Excellency’s administration,” Hon. Adeniran stated. “His focus on security of life and property through reinforcement of security via the recruitment of over 1,200 Amotekun corps and his focus in education through the ongoing recruitment of qualified teachers and preodic distribution of school materials to pupils across Osun State.”

The Forum also lauded Governor Adeleke’s agricultural reforms, particularly the procurement of modern farming equipment to empower local farmers. Furthermore, his resolve to clear outstanding salaries and circulate state funds within the local economy was described as a major boost for grassroots development.

To complement the governor’s efforts, the Forum recently rolled out a multi-million naira empowerment program and announced plans to implement additional community support initiatives in the coming months.

Reaffirming their dedication to the governor's re-election campaign, Hon. Adeniran declared, “We are fully committed to supporting His Excellency’s vision and will work tirelessly to ensure his success in the 2026 elections. His leadership has rekindled hope and restored pride in Osun State.”

The endorsement was jointly signed by Hon. Adeniran Sunday Isaac (Chairman), Hon. Chief Sesan Orija (Vice Chairman), and Hon. Akin Oladejo (Secretary), marking a unified stance by the Forum in backing Governor Adeleke’s second-term ambition.

FHA ED, Remi Omowaiye in Trouble over N150m MIST Fund Fraud

Former Commissioner for Works and the current Executive Director at the Federal Housing Authority, Remi Omowaiye is in fresh trouble over an alleged N150m MIST fund fraud when he served as the maiden Commissioner for the Ministry of Science and Innovation under the Aregbesola administration. IGP Egbetokun Conniving with Oyetola and Osun APC to assassinate Adeleke, PDP alleges

The leadership of the Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has accused the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun of hobnobbing with the opposition All Progressives Congress to assassinate the state governor, Ademola Adeleke amid the crisis surrounding control of local government areas in the state.
