Osun State Commissioner for Home Affairs, Hon. Aderibigbe Kayode Abdulrasheed Empowers Constituents in a grand style


Osun State Commissioner for Home Affairs, Hon. Aderibigbe Kayode Abdulrasheed, popularly known as 'Asendo', hosted a remarkable empowerment event in Odo-Otin Local Government. 
The event held at the Commissioner's residence, along Ekusa Road, Inisa, aimed at supporting party members by distributing valuable household appliances and essential food items, highlighting the Commissioner’s commitment to uplifting his constituency.
The event was attended by notable party dignitaries, including Hon. Bola Ajao, the Osun State PDP Party Secretary, who represented the State PDP Chairman, Hon. Sunday Bisi. In his speech, Hon. Ajao eulogized the empowerment initiatives of Hon. Aderibigbe, praising his dedication and the positive impact of his programs on the lives of constituents.
Alhaji Oyelami KK. also took the stage to applaud Hon. Aderibigbe, appreciating his continuous support for the people of Odo-Otin and labelling him a role model for fellow leaders. He noted that the contributions of the Honourable Commissioner have set a benchmark for good governance and community involvement.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement and gratitude as the Executive Chairman of Odo-Otin Local Government, Hon. Adewale Adeyinka graced the occasion, adding his voice to the acknowledgement of Hon. Aderibigbe's efforts.
Additionally, Hon. Taiwo Adetunji, chairman of PDP Odo-Otin local government, led all PDP wards and local executives to the event, showcasing the unity and solidarity within the party, ahead of the 2026 gubernatorial election in Osun State. 
The highlight of the day was the distribution of 30 high-quality Termocool refrigerators to the 15 PDP ward Vice chairmen and 15 ward Secretaries in the Odo-Otin Local Government.
The gesture of the Hon.Commissioner for Home Affairs, Alhaji Aderibigbe Kayode not only provided practical support to party leaders but also underscored the importance of equipping them to better serve their respective wards and communities.
The event drew a large crowd of party members, with the 15 Honourable councillors from Odo-Otin local government, Alhaji Aare, Alhaji Soladoye (Oreke), Hon. Diji Adetoyi, Hon. Akinola, Hon. Waheed, Hon. Dende, community residents, among other notable leaders and dignitaries, were all eager to express their appreciation for the Hon. Commissioner’s relentless commitment to their welfare. The empowerment initiative reflected the core values of the PDP, focusing on the enhancement of living standards and creating a supportive environment for leaders and constituents alike.

FHA ED, Remi Omowaiye in Trouble over N150m MIST Fund Fraud

Former Commissioner for Works and the current Executive Director at the Federal Housing Authority, Remi Omowaiye is in fresh trouble over an alleged N150m MIST fund fraud when he served as the maiden Commissioner for the Ministry of Science and Innovation under the Aregbesola administration. Feelers from the state government indicated that shocking details were uncovered on the FHA director during a contract review process on which he was already penciled down over a particular road contract. The leadership of the Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has accused the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun of hobnobbing with the opposition All Progressives Congress to assassinate the state governor, Ademola Adeleke amid the crisis surrounding control of local government areas in the state.
