Commissioner for Home Affairs, Hon. Abdulrasheed Aderibigbe Asendo, Today, Graced the Iyeku PDP weekly Zonal meeting, held every Tuesdays

The Honourable Commissioner was joyfully welcomed to the meeting by the party faithful and leaders under the Chairmanship of Hon Sunday Afolbi,  PDP Ward 5, Chairman, Odo-Otin local government, Osun State 

The progress of PDP in Iyeku top the agenda of the meeting and over hundreds of Hausa's/Suru communities residing in Iyeku allianced with the PDP as part of the main highlight of the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, the Honourable Commissioner welcomed the Hausa/Suru communities to the party and pledged to support their welfare and well-being.
 Hon. Abdulrasheed Aderibigbe Asendo also appreciated the party faithful in Iyeku and urged for their continuous support of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration.

The Honourable Commissioner assured the party faithful in Iyeku that the issues of marginalisation raised in the sharing of the dividends of democracy to the party loyalist in Iyeku will be discussed with the Honourable Speaker,  Prince Adewale Egbedun and he assured them that, the issues will be addressed accordingly and he also donated cash to the members present at the meeting for refreshments.

Speaking unbehalf of PDP Iyeku,  Hon. Sunday Afolabi appreciated the Honourable Commissioner for coming and for the cash danotion. He assured him of the PDP winning Iyeku, and the members will continue to work for the success of the party and the reelection of Governor Ademola Adeleke come 2026.

Iyeku PDP leaders present at the meeting were Hon. Ajibade Aderemi, Hon. Sunday Adebisi, Mr. Ajibade Adesoji, Hon. Adegbite Blessing,  Mr. Rasheed Afolabi, Mr. Afolabi Johnson,  Mr. Oladosu Taofeek, Mrs. Oladepe Ajibade, Mrs. Kubura Olawore, Mr. Oyebode Joshua, among others.

FHA ED, Remi Omowaiye in Trouble over N150m MIST Fund Fraud

Former Commissioner for Works and the current Executive Director at the Federal Housing Authority, Remi Omowaiye is in fresh trouble over an alleged N150m MIST fund fraud when he served as the maiden Commissioner for the Ministry of Science and Innovation under the Aregbesola administration. Feelers from the state government indicated that shocking details were uncovered on the FHA director during a contract review process on which he was already penciled down over a particular road contract. A source told our reporter that the money was meant for some information and communication gadgets to be shipped to Nigeria. Till date, there was no invoice nor any equipment from the transaction. IGP Egbetokun Conniving with Oyetola and Osun APC to assassinate Adeleke, PDP alleges

The leadership of the Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has accused the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun of hobnobbing with the opposition All Progressives Congress to assassinate the state governor, Ademola Adeleke amid the crisis surrounding control of local government areas in the state. Addresing a press conference at the PDP secretariat in Osogbo, the party chairman, Sunday Bisi, alleged that Egbetokun gave sacked local government chairmen under the platform of APC security cover to take control of councils, saying the development was part of the plot to “get rid” of Governor Adeleke.
