Prince Olagunsoye Asola Oyinlola was born on February 3rd,1951

 Gen.Olagunsoye Oyinlola was military Administrator of Lagos State from December 1993- August 1996

His Excellency Olagunsoye Oyinlola became the Governor of Osun State in Nigeria in May 29th,2003.

He was reelected for the same position(Governor) in 2007.

He obtained International Relation Diploma in University of Ife in 1979

Master of Science in Defence Studies in University of Madras,India in 1988

Master in Strategic Study in University of Ibadan 1999

He obtained a Law Degree in Buckingham University United Kingdom in 2003

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology made him an honorary degree of civil law in 2004

Federal University of Minna made him honorary Doctor of Science in 2006

Osun State University conferred honorary degree causa on him in 2009

University of Buckingham in 2005 and Lead City University Ibadan in 2010

He was appointed as Chairman Governing Board of National Identity Management Board(NIMC) on 21st September,2017

He was the Former National Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party

He established the Multi Campus of Osun State University while he was the Governor

Today, The Osun State Working Committee of Peoples Democratic Party ratified Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola as Deputy National Chairman for October 30th PDP National Convention.

FHA ED, Remi Omowaiye in Trouble over N150m MIST Fund Fraud

Former Commissioner for Works and the current Executive Director at the Federal Housing Authority, Remi Omowaiye is in fresh trouble over an alleged N150m MIST fund fraud when he served as the maiden Commissioner for the Ministry of Science and Innovation under the Aregbesola administration. Feelers from the state government indicated that shocking details were uncovered on the FHA director during a contract review process on which he was already penciled down over a particular road contract. A source told our reporter that the money was meant for some information and communication gadgets to be shipped to Nigeria. Till date, there was no invoice nor any equipment from the transaction. IGP Egbetokun Conniving with Oyetola and Osun APC to assassinate Adeleke, PDP alleges

The leadership of the Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has accused the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun of hobnobbing with the opposition All Progressives Congress to assassinate the state governor, Ademola Adeleke amid the crisis surrounding control of local government areas in the state. Addresing a press conference at the PDP secretariat in Osogbo, the party chairman, Sunday Bisi, alleged that Egbetokun gave sacked local government chairmen under the platform of APC security cover to take control of councils, saying the development was part of the plot to “get rid” of Governor Adeleke.
